Here is general information about how our classroom runs.
In our classroom we don't have rules, we have expectations. Students will be held to these expectations at all times. On the first day of school we will discuss these expectations and collaborate to define and give examples of each expectation.

Students will be rewarded for going ABOVE and BEYOND meeting the classroom expectations! Rewards may be any of the following:
Students will have consequences for not meeting classroom expectations and will work in conjunction with their "R" card. Consequences will begin with a verbal warning and progress through a series of leveled consequences. Depending on the severity of the situation, consequences may be skipped.
Step 1 - Verbal warning
Step 2 - 10 minute in-class time out and negative points on "R" card
Step 3 - Red folder warning, loss of privileges, and negative points on "R" card
Step 4 - 20 minute out-of-class time out, parent contact, and negative points on "R" card
Step 5 - After school detention and negative points on "R" card
Step 6 - Referral to the office and negative points on "R" card
